Science Visit!

We were lucky enough to have a guest teacher from the @lakechamplaincommittee visit us last week and teach us about the lake Champlain water basin, native species, and the concept of invasive species. We played games illustrating the food chain and specifically how water chestnut (Trapa natans) may take over an ecosystem. Thank you! p.s. The kids were excited to learn that 'Champ'--the lake monster is protected by law and may even exist and be a sturgeon!
