Bauhaus Bountiful Botany Camp

Looking back on another full week of summer camp for 2026. In Bauhaus Bountiful Botany camp campers learned about different bauhaus artists such as Paul Klee, Anni Albers, Wassily Kandinsky, Mondrian and considered contemporary Marimekko as well. Other activities included designing (paper) bauhaus rugs, distinguishing between different leaf shapes and learning plant patterns and basic flower anatomy, creating collaborative artwork including a window curtain inspired by Paul Klee and a cloth decorated with potato stamps. Students also created their own carnival games out of recycled materials, created ephemeral nature mandalas, and as proved very popular, created little cork creatures (gnomes.) Thank you all again!
